கேளாமல் போவாரோ – KELAMAL POVARO
கண்மூடி துதித்தால்
If you praise with closed eyes
கேளாமல் போவாரோ?
Won’t he hear?
இதயத்தை திறந்தால்
If you open your heart
வராமல் நிற்பாரோ
Won’t he come?
முழங்கால்கள் முடங்கும்போது
When the knees down
தேற்றாமல் திரும்பிடுவாரோ ,
Won’t he return without comforting?
வாக்குரைத்த தேவன் அவர்
God who promised
உன்னப்போல மாறிடுவாரோ.
Will he change like you?
கண்ணோடு கண் வைத்து
Keep an eye upon you
கண்மணி போல் உன்னை காப்பவர் அன்றோ
He will protect you as the apple of eyes
நெஞ்சோடு உன்னை அணைத்து
One who hugs you
ஆலோசனை என்றும் சொல்பவர் அன்றோ
Counsel always
கருவில் நீயும் வருமுன்னே
Before you were formed in the womb
கருத்தாய் உன்னை அறிந்தவரோ
He knew you by heart
தாயின் கற்ப்பில் தோன்றுமுன்னே
Before forming in the mother’s womb
உன் பேர் சொல்லி அழைத்தவரோ
He called you by your name
ஆறாத காயங்களை
Unhealed wounds
ஆற்றும் நல்ல வைத்தியர் அன்றோ
Good physician who heals
மாறாத துன்ப வாழ்வுதனை
Life of unchanging sufferings
மாற்றும் நல்ல இரட்சகர் அன்றோ
Good saviour who changes it
அவர் சுவாசம் என்னில் உள்ளவரை
As long as his breath is in me
ஆலயமாக நானிருப்பேன்
I will be his temple
அவர் அன்பை கற்று தந்ததினால்
He taught me to love
அன்போடு வாழ்ந்திடுவேன்
I will live a life filled with love
